Harrison Bergeron
Kurt Vonnegut wrote Harrison Bergeron, one of the best really short sad speculative fiction stories ever written. And he did it in 1961 (or so). Whatta guy. After all, when there is competition, there has to be a winner, and everyone else loses. Best to not risk that, right?
Funny, I’m not all that competitive of a person, preferring teamwork over competition. I’d rather work with you on an opportunity than do you out of one. But I think that people need to shine, and it’s good to see someone working at something they’re really good at.

I didn’t realize there was a film! I’d only read the story.
I suppose you could search on the file sharing networks for it in case someone else has released it, but I personally never convert from a movie to a shared format (as much from fear of prosecution as from moral obligation). Those kooky MPAA guys tend to take things seriously, and are spoiling for a fight with anybody.
I should learn my way around creating torrents, though, in case I get some original (creative commons/DFSG) content someday. Mostly torrents mean linux .iso files to me. If I ever do make a Linux distribution for church management, I’ll need to know how to do that stuff.
But rip and publish a movie? Nah, that’s potentially much more trouble than I can afford.
