Not complaining About Vonage
I see reports that people are unhappy with Vonage, but I don’t know who those people are. I could not possibly be happier. My calls are inexpensive, my service and sound are excellent, and I don’t ever have a dropped call.
Better yet, my international calling (family calling me overseas) last month was trivial. I really mean trivial. I could not possibly be happier.
Note, I’m not associated with V other than as a paying subscriber. They don’t even know that I like them so much.
Vonage rocks. Don’t be afraid to switch over.

Im with ya on this. I love my Vonage service. Savin me a ton of money. No problems with calling anyone either.

I’m shocked. I totally had you pegged as a raving fan of Ameritech/SBC/AT&T/whoever they are this week.

I’m interested in Vonage but am concerned about reliability and compatibility versus a standard POTS line. I just had a 6+ hour broadband outage (that made the Indianapolis Star) and I’ve got a security system that needs a phone line. There’s been talk of some security systems not working with VOIP. I know my broadband reliability isn’t Vonage’s fault, but they also have no control over the ISP’s QoS so the general reliability could also be suspect. For now, I think I’ll just talk to AT&T and see what the lowest rate I can get from them is.
